Nature is not separate from the sacred — every tradition knew this. The Lakota's Great Spirit speaks in the mountains. The Celtic Druids found the divine in oak groves. The Japanese practice shinrin-yoku — forest bathing — as spiritual medicine. The Biblical garden was the original home. The Islamic teaching declares the whole earth a mosque. These photographs were taken by the Guardian of the Republic over months and years of witness: skies caught at dawn, sunsets received in silence, cherry blossoms that lasted four days. Nothing was staged. Everything was simply seen. A garden does not argue for the existence of the sacred. It simply grows.
